Cash payment isn't accepted on the vast majority of Turkey's highways and bridges. If you don't top up your HGS balance and settle the debt within 15 days of the crossing, an administrative fine of several times the toll fee will be issued.
Tolls on almost all of Turkey's highways and bridges are collected exclusively via HGS (the electronic toll collection system). Cash and card payments aren't accepted at the barrier; your vehicle needs a valid HGS tag with a sufficient balance.
If you register for HGS and settle your balance within 15 days of the crossing, you'll only be charged the toll fee itself. If you miss that window, an administrative fine of several times the toll amount is applied.
The prices shown are for Class 1 vehicles (two-axle cars with an axle spacing under 3.20 meters). Trucks, buses, trailers and other Class 2-5 vehicles, as well as motorcycles, are charged different rates — check KGM's official tariff tables for details.
KGM tariffs are typically revalued twice a year, in January and July, based on the official revaluation rate. Private operators such as the Eurasia Tunnel may update their own tariffs on a different schedule.
