The cost per 100 km is calculated from the vehicle's WLTP consumption and the current average AC kWh price among charging operators in Turkey (~10.33 TL/kWh); cost is lower on home charging and higher on high-power DC charging. For detailed operator pricing, see the EV Charging Prices page.
Since prices change frequently, the most current ranking can be found by sorting this page's list by "Price: Low to High". Entry-level models from brands like Renault, Dacia and MG are usually among the most affordable electric cars.
Range figures are based on the WLTP test data published by manufacturers. For models without official WLTP data, an approximate estimated range is used and marked as "estimated" on the card.
Energy consumption per 100 km is calculated from the vehicle's battery capacity (kWh) and WLTP range, then multiplied by the current average AC kWh price among charging operators in Turkey to get an approximate cost in TL. The actual cost can vary depending on the charging station and tariff you use.
The list price of electric vehicles is often close to or higher than comparable fuel models in the same segment; however, the energy cost per 100 km is usually significantly lower than gasoline or diesel. See our Fuel Prices page to compare against current fuel prices.
Yes, electric vehicles with a motor power not exceeding 160 kW (about 215 hp) and priced below the current SCT exemption threshold also qualify for the SCT exemption. See our SCT-Exempt Vehicles page for details and eligible models.
