Turkey's Best-Selling Cars in June 2026
In June, Turkey's car market shrank compared to the previous month, with total sales of 105,041 units. Even so, familiar names sit at the top of the ranking: Renault and Fiat share the lead at the model level, while the Togg T10X continues to stand out by a wide margin in the electric and SUV categories. The combined share of hybrid and electric vehicles in the total market has also reached around 50%.

Three different segments are represented in the top five: B-segment hatchbacks with the Clio HB and i20, C-segment sedans with the Egea Sedan, Megane Sedan and Corolla, and the electric C-SUV with the T10X. This distribution shows that the Turkish market still carries strong demand for both budget-friendly and mid-segment cars. Fiat sits in second place on the strength of a single model (Egea Sedan), once again highlighting just how much weight the Egea carries in Fiat's Turkish sales.
How Does the First Half of the Year Look?
Looking at the January-June 2026 totals gives a slightly different picture from June's ranking alone:
| Rank | Brand / Model | Segment | Units Sold (Jan-Jun) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Renault Clio HB | B2 | 28,892 |
| 2 | Renault Megane Sedan | C1 | 17,375 |

Over the first six months of the year, the Clio HB has held onto the lead by a comfortable margin, selling nearly twice as many units on its own as the second-place Megane Sedan. At the brand level, Renault also leads by a wide margin with 69,236 units, ahead of Volkswagen (36,071) and Toyota (34,829).
What Does This Table Tell Us?
- Sedans and hatchbacks are still strong: Classic body types like the Clio HB, Egea Sedan, Megane Sedan, and Corolla taking three to four of the top five spots shows that, despite the SUV wave, demand for these segments in Turkey remains intact.
- The Togg T10X leads on the electric side: Ranking in the top five to seven both monthly and year-to-date confirms the domestically produced electric SUV's lasting place in the market.
- The hybrid and electric share is rising: The combined market share of these two groups reaching around 50% as of June points to a clear shift in buyers' fuel-type preferences.
