The Electric Vehicle Market in 2026: Where Turkey Stands

The first half of the year is behind us, and Turkey's electric vehicle segment has expanded noticeably in both price and model variety. In this article, we summarize current price ranges, the state of domestic production, and charging infrastructure.

Current Landscape by Price Segment

Entry segment (1.4-2 million TRY):

• Compact/commercial electric options such as the Citroën ë-C3, MG ZS Hybrid (as a hybrid alternative), and Fiat E-Doblo

Mid segment (2-2.5 million TRY):

• TOGG T10X / T10F (RWD standard- and long-range versions), Volvo EX30, Tesla Model Y

Premium segment (above 4 million TRY):

• BYD Seal, Han, Tang; the Audi e-tron family

Domestic Production: Where TOGG Stands

TOGG is already on the market with the T10X and T10F, both offered in RWD standard-range, RWD long-range, and 4More (dual motor) trims. Prices range from 1.87 million TRY up to 3.18 million TRY at the top trim. The Price Gap Between Electric and Gasoline

Electric models in the same segment still carry a higher starting price than their gasoline/hybrid equivalents. For example, a gasoline/hybrid model in the C-SUV segment might have a dealer price in the 1.9-2.3 million TRY band, while electric options in the same segment start at 2.3-2.5 million TRY. Charging Infrastructure

Networks like TOGG Trugo, ZES, and Eşarj continue to expand; finding a fast-charging station in major cities and along highway routes is no longer a serious issue for city driving. Route planning still matters for long intercity trips.
